Hi Doug,

With your work in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

1989-90 School Year - Employed by the Wayne County BOE as the HS SBH teacher, stationed at North Central Schools (Norwayne, Hs). Varsity Assistant Coach in Football and Basketball.

1990-98 School Years - Employed by Nordonia Hills City School District, 1 year Elementary SBH Teacher the rest as High School Intervention Specialist, also coached varsity football (4 years), and varsity basketball (8 years), and varsity golf (4 years). Director/Founder, CyberSchool Ohio.

1998-2000 - Employed by the Summit County Educational Service Center as a Technology Consultant for 16 other schools in Summit County and the Technology Coordinator for te ESC.

2000-2001 - Employed by Kent State University to manage and direct a low bandwidth, desktop video conferencing project which was funded by the Ohio Board of Reagants. Also did various consulting projects.

2001-2007 - Employed by the Nordonia Hills City School District to be the Director of Technology and Information Systems. This position provided me a tremendous opportuniy to put my theories into practice and gut and re-build a systemic technology system.

2007-2008 - Co-Founder and CEO of the Edge Network Consulting Group.

Helped schools, small/medium business, and non-profit organizations cost-effectively implement IT/IS systems to advance the goals of their respective organization.

April 2008 - Merged The Edge Network Consulting Group with Smart Solutions Inc.

2008 - Present - Education Business Development, Smart Solutions Inc.

I recently read an article from the Hoover Institution entitled "How We Transform Education" and the gist of the article is summed up in the following quote:
